BRANDING/LOGOS
Image is more than just a logo, but it often starts there. A well designed logo sets the tone for the design projects that follow. Also, the logo is a lightning rod for executive oversight requiring a carefully presented process. Logos can be a hotly contested debate. It takes a very knowledgeable presenter to "sell" a good logo. Add statesman to the list of additional traits a good Creative Director must possess!

ESSANTÉ HOME LINE - Retro Look - Branding

Based upon retro designs, but cusomized specifically for Essanté these designs set off the Home Products section to give a fun lyrical appeal to what would usually be considered pretty mundane subjects, soap, surface sanitizer, baby lotion etc. It's nice to play once in a while!

YOUNG LIVING - Before and After

Overseeing a rebranding is not just a technical question. It's very much a political one. Moving Young Living into the modern era was akin to building a trans-continental railroad. Many miles were crossed before that final spike was hammered into place. Ultimately we prevailed, and a golden era of superior design followed. Logo in use pictured.

• The new "mark" really solidified the brand, recognition and retention
• The new mark was delightful to design with - more contemporary, and mainstream
• Curiously, artistic minded individuals strongly preferred the new look, while others loudly berated it, preferring to go back to the "leaf drop" design. Please ask me how this all turned out!






THIEVES LINE - Branding

As seen in the print section, this product required a separate brand to set it off as a powerful trusted microbial defense product. We couldn't say that it "killed germs", but it was generally known that it was a powerful antibiotic blend.

This product featured breakthrough technology in a cellular nutrition delivery system composed of remarkably natural ingredients.

Technology corporation, focusing upon architectural archiving. Adverus - Latin for "truth".

Online technical learning company. Their focus was Novell, Microsoft, Linux, etc. certification.
